The LaLeLu baby hammock was designed in Germany. It consists of many individual components, most of which have been specially manufactured for your baby hammock.

The hammock fabric:

We are especially proud of our hammock fabric and textile cover. These were lovingly handcrafted by our cooperation partner Jyoti - Fair Works, a German-Indian fair-fashion label socially and environmentally sustainable. In addition, all fabrics are GOTS certified.

Our distinguished fabrics are particularly soft, wrinkle-free, and treated exclusively with natural colorants.

Due to this particularly gentle production method, the fabrics are only washable at 30°C.

The mattress:

The mattress fabrics are made of 100% GOTS certified organic cotton. The mattress filling consists of 80% TENCEL® and 20% polyester. The mattress is therefore very moisture-regulating, skin-friendly, hygienic and is washable at 60 ° C.

The TENCEL® fiber is obtained from raw wood and is particularly environmentally friendly in fiber production due to a closed loop system.

The metal parts:

Many components, such as the spring with safety rope and the hammock hanger were made especially for us in Germany. Chain, carabiner, swivel hook, hammock hanger and spring are made of robust stainless steel. The hook is suitable for heavy loads and can hold a guaranteed 360 kg (=793 pounds).
